New Entertainment Venue Revealed Set to Generate Over £10M Each Year for Derby
Derby City Council have revealed plans for a new performance venue named the ‘Becketwell Arena.’
The proposed arena will have a capacity of 3,500 people and will be a flexible space to stage shows, comedy acts, bands, and conferences.
The venue should create over 200 local jobs and generate over £10M per year for the area, attracting up to a quarter of a million customers.
The Becketwell Arena is scheduled for completion in 2024 and will add to the wealth of cultural and entertainment options the city already has to offer.
